Barbara Skaouris was born in Athens Greece. She attended the university of Panteios Greece. She worked for six years at the Economic Department of Greek Air force in the Tatoi Air force base and the Pentagon. She got married and came to live in Chicago. She has two children and she works for the church office since 1998.
Alexandra (Sandy) Grivas
Sandy was born and raised in Chicago, IL. and currently lives in Mt. Prospect, IL. Growing up at our St. Haralambos Parish, she attended Greek school and Sunday school. Sandy graduated from North Park University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Administration and a minor in Economics. After graduating, she worked for Anixter Bros as a Marketing Manager for 12 years.
Sandy was also married at St. Haralambos and has two daughters, Nicolette and Jenna, who also attended Greek school, Sunday school and Goya at St. Haralambos.
She also participated in the Afternoon Greek School PTA as treasurer, vice president and as president. She is currently on the board for Philoptochos.
Sandy started in October 2007 and is very proud to be part of the St. Haralambos family.
Anastasia (Anna) Sikoral
Anastasia works in the church office, during Greek School hours on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays throughout the school year, since 2014 . She is married and has 3 children. Anna grew up at St. Haralambos and her children attended the St. Haralambos Morning , as well as the Afternoon Greek School. She is also Co-Director of the Sunday School program.
Ms. Anna Prekas is our Facilities Manager and Parish Administrator. Anna has been involved in many of our parish ministries over the last few years and has now committed to help grow these ministries as a full-time employee and leader of our community. In her new role, Anna will be coordinating and facilitating the work of our staff, our volunteers and ministry organizations within the overall framework of our parish operations. While Anna works in our parish office, her role is not secretarial in nature. Anna’s job is to implement best practices and procedures throughout our parish operations and ministries. Therefore, as each committee and parish organization proceed to grow in its ministry, we ask that you coordinate with Anna in terms of the following:
- Requests from our office staff such as reservations, correspondence, mailings, financial transactions, reports, etc.
- Requests for facility use, available dates and times, custodial services, table set-up, instructions, fees and other requirements.
- Maintenance issues throughout the facility.
- Deliveries and use of various vendors and contractors.
- Reimbursement requests, invoices and disbursements to various vendors.
- Social media, e-mail lists, flyers, announcements, parish calendar, input for weekly bulletin and monthly publications.
In all these areas, Anna has offered to facilitate our parish in obtaining more efficient and well-coordinated ministries and parish operations. Please feel free to contact Anna via email.
